Shelter volunteer

Each evening, shelter volunteers work at the shelter to welcome guests, cook and serve an evening meal. 

In the mornings another team of volunteers arrive to cook and serve breakfast and help guests have a positive start to their day.

Volunteers work in groups of three or more on each shift.

Volunteers are vital to the work we do and we recognise and value the huge contribution they make.  In return, we offer a rewarding experience and the opportunity to contribute to combating homelessness.  Volunteers can gain experience within the homelessness sector in a positive, friendly and supportive environment.
